At Happy Henry's! we take a more holistic approach to dog grooming. In addition to being Staffordshire's first indoor boutique self-service dog wash, which opened in April 2021, we are the first to offer consent-based grooming, games-based training, and guardian education all under one roof. We also offer workshops (NEW for 2024). And let's not forget our Woof You! Podcast that's available on our website, plus Apple Podcasts.

We provide everything you need to make the experience fun and positive: full instructions on correct and safe use, plus tips and tricks on how to help your dog enjoy the process; waterproof collars and aprons (for adults & children); towels (£1), dryer, a selection of shampoos (plant-based, cruelty-free)

At Happy Henry's! we will never push a dog over threshold in order to get a perfect-looking groom.
We will work with guardians to change the way a dog feels about being groomed and handled.
We will go at the pace each dog can deal with. A little stress can be good for learning. A lot can cause overwhelm which leads to a brain not being able to digest and take on new information or instructions.

As soon as they’re fully vaccinated, come to Happy Henry’s! for a good old sniff around and sign up. Over 6 sessions we’ll give you tips and tricks that will help you and your dog, introducing them gradually to being handled and groomed.
