Please note we are no longer requiring face masks be worn while at Happy Henry's! but we would highly recommend it. When giving instructions during your first visit, our staff will continue to wear masks for the time being. We will also continue to sanitise the machine and touch-points as has been standard since opening in April.
Hand washing and sanitisation facilities are available for customers to use, if they wish. Staff will ensure frequent cleaning of the areas, workspaces, and washing facilities occurs. Spas and surrounding area will be disinfected after each customer. Please place used towels in the bins provided. Staff will remove dirty towels from wash areas after each bath.
WILL THERE BE SOMEONE ON-SITE WHILE I'M THERE?
Yes, there will be a staff member on hand during opening hours to answer any questions and offer assistance.
I PAID ON-LINE. HOW DO I USE THE DOG SPA AND I MAKE IT START?
Good question! If you've paid online, for either a single wash or a package, we will have entered the details into our system of your paid service. When you check in at the front desk, we'll pull up your record and be able to see exactly what you've got available. We'll provide you with a token which you'll use to start the spa system. Someone will be available on-site to assist you if you have questions or need help.
If you have multiple baths paid for, we'll keep track of what you've used so you'll never have to worry about losing tokens or forgetting how many washes you have left.
I'VE PURCHASED A MULTI-WASH PACKAGE. HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT ONLINE IF I'VE ALREADY PAID?
Once you've purchased your multi-wash package or subscription, and booked your first appointment, either drop us a note or give us a call so we can schedule your appointments manually. Since slot are limited, if you want to ensure you never miss out, we'd be happy to set up a recurring appointment for you. If you can't make one of your appointments, we ask you give us 24 hours' notice so that another client can be given your time slot.
I'VE PAID FOR AND BOOKED A SINGLE WASH BUT I CAN'T MAKE IT. CAN I GET A REFUND?
Things happen and we completely understand if you're unable to make an appointment. If you give us at least 24 hours' notice, we'll be happy to refund your payment, or reschedule your dog's bath for another day. If less than 24 hours' notice is given, we will endeavour to do all we can to fill your slot and issue a refund, but cannot guarantee it.
DO YOU SELL ANYTHING BESIDES DOG WASHES?
Yes! We have a small retail section, which includes treats and recycled toys, Licki-Mats, Ruff & Tumble Drying Coats, plus Howd cruelty-free grooming products. We love getting customer feedback and will continue to go "dog-wild" when we hear about something that's toy-tastically amazing.

Whatever your budget, we'd be delighted to create something special for your furry family and friends. Anything we stock, we can include. In addition, we are excited to partner with several of the other vendors at Amerton Farm to make your gift baskets extra special.

MY DOG HAS FLEAS AND/OR TICKS. CAN I BRING HIM FOR A BATH?
At Happy Henry’s!, we aim to keep the salon free from fleas and ticks. If your dog has multiple fleas and ticks, we ask that you refrain from coming in until the flea or tick problem is under control. Dogs with a flea or tick infestation carry a risk of anaemia, infections, tapeworms and have other health problems. We recommend you seek advice from your vet on how best to treat infestations and keep the bugs at bay on an ongoing basis.
WILL MY DOG BE SAFE?
At Happy Henry’s! safety is very important. We have installed safety gates around the spa areas and ask all customers to make sure the gates are closed and latched when in the these areas. In addition, each spa has a safety tether that can be attached to your dog’s collar. If you’d rather not get your own collar wet, we can provide you with a waterproof collar to use during bathing.
Appointment times will be staggered to minimize likelihood of dogs coming into contact with each other.
MY DOG CAN BE AGGRESSIVE AROUND DOGS. CAN I STILL COME?
We prefer to not label our dogs as aggressive, but rather pessimistic, and they just sometimes get anxious and uncertain when presented with new environments or situations. We all have bad days, right? We'd love to meet your naughty but nice four-legged (or three, or two for that matter) furry family member. Just let us know and we can arrange for you to visit during a quiet time initially so they can get comfortable and do some serious sniffing. We'll also give them treats, so what's not to like about that? In addition, we have installed a visual divider between dog wash stations, so there'll be no staring down from Grumpy Gus across the room.
BUT MY DOG IS SUPER-DUPER FRIENDLY AND THE BEST-BEHAVED DOG IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD. I DON'T NEED TO USE A LEAD DO I?
That's awesome! However, since many dogs do not appreciate a bouncing ball of fluff in their face or sniffing of their bums, all owners must remain in full control of their dogs at all times. No dog is allowed into Happy Henry’s! without wearing a collar (or harness) that’s attached to a lead that you're holding. If your dog shows aggression or bites another dog or a human, owners will be responsible for any and all related medical bills, recovery costs, and loss of income. If in doubt, we recommend owners use muzzles to ensure everyone's safety.
I'M A NEW DOG OWNER. CAN I COME?

If you are a new pet owner or it’s your first time bringing your dog to Happy Henry’s!, let us know, and we will endeavour to make an appointment for you at a quieter time of day. Our goal is to make it a fun experience. Free treats will be provided!
I ADOPTED A RESCUE PUP, CAN I BRING THEM?
Double congrats to you!! We love love love rescues, and if you present your adoption papers, we'll add an additional free bath to your account when you purchase one of our Magic Jack's packages. That means you get SIX baths for the cost of FOUR! Whoop Whoop! Since it can take several weeks for a rescue to get comfortable with their new owners and new home environment, we would suggest not coming to us as soon as you pick up your new friend. Give them time to settle in and adjust, and ensure their first experience at Happy Henry's! is fabulous.
