I was once like you....
I know what it’s like to have a dog that’s worried about the world, worried about being touched, about being handled.
Henry became one pessimistic boy when he hit adolescence and I didn't know how to help him. I sort out advice from "experts" and did what I was told to "fix" him, stop him from being "aggressive" and reactive. I had a lot of experience with dogs in the past but nothing seemed to work with Henry. He struggled with many things, including a great fear of flies and other buzzing insects. It turns out I didn't know as much as I thought.
Then it all changed...
Through the power of games and learning from some of the top experts in their field, I’ve been able to help my dogs and many others get more comfortable, confident, and optimistic, not just in the grooming salon and at the vets, but outside in the real world too. At the tender age of 50 I finally figured out what I wanted to do when I grew up. The thrill I get from seeing a dog go from anxious to awesome is indescribable. The more I learn, the more I realise just how little I know. My goal is to continue my learning and share as much as I can with others who like me felt they were failing their canine companion.
